त्रिवर्गे चापवर्गे च यश:श्रीरोगशान्तिषु । देवतापितृपूजासु संतोष्याश्चैव नो द्विजा:
vāyudeva uvāca | trivarge cāpavarge ca yaśaḥśrīrogaśāntiṣu | devatāpitṛpūjāsu santoṣyāś caiva no dvijāḥ ||
Wika ni Vāyudeva: “Para magtagumpay sa tatlong layunin ng buhay—dharma, artha, at kāma—at maging sa paglaya; para makamit ang katanyagan, kasaganaan, kalusugan, at pagkapawi ng karamdaman; at sa mga sandali ng pagsamba sa mga diyos at sa mga ninuno—sa lahat ng gayong pagkakataon, dapat nating tiyaking lubos na nasisiyahan ang mga brāhmaṇa.”
