भवद्धिः सदृशा: सर्वे कपा: किमिह वर्तते । सर्वे वेदविद: प्राज्ञा: सर्वे च क्रतुयाजिन:

Transliteration

bhavadbhiḥ sadṛśāḥ sarve kapāḥ kim iha vartate | sarve vedavidaḥ prājñāḥ sarve ca kratuyājinaḥ ||

Translation

Wika ni Bhishma: “(Sabi ng sugo:) ‘O mga Brahmana! Ang lahat ng Kapa ay maihahambing sa inyo sa dangal. Kung gayon, bakit may alitan dito laban sa kanila? Sila’y pawang mga nakaaalam ng Veda, marurunong, at pawang nagsasagawa ng mga handog na sakripisyo.’”
