ब्राह्मणपूजायां व्युष्टिः — Vyuṣṭi (Merit-Outcome) of Honoring Brāhmaṇas: Kṛṣṇa and Durvāsā

श्रद्धेयः कथितो हार्थ: सज्जनश्रवर्ण गत: । चिरं तिष्ठति मेदिन्यां शैले लेख्यामिवार्पितम्‌

śraddheyaḥ kathito hārthaḥ sajjanaśravaṇa-gataḥ | ciraṁ tiṣṭhati medinyāṁ śaile lekhyeva ārpitaḥ ||

Wika ni Vāyu: “Ang pahayag na karapat-dapat pagtiwalaan, kapag nabigkas at tinanggap sa tainga ng mga banal na tao, ay nananatili sa daigdig nang mahabang panahon—gaya ng ukit na nakalilok sa bato. O mga dakilang rishi, ang inyong pagdalo ay banal na tulad ng sa mga diyos. Bagama’t may mga kagila-gilalas at makalangit na bagay sa langit o sa lupa na hindi pa ninyo nakita, tuwiran ko itong nasasaksihan. Ang pagkaalam sa lahat ay aking natatanging likás; hindi ito napipigil saanman. At ang kapangyarihang naghahari sa akin ay hindi ko itinuturing na nakapagtataka. Gayunman, ang sinasabi at naririnig sa piling ng mga mabubuti ay nananatiling matatag at pangmatagalan.”
