स्वर्गे च पितृलोके च पितृदेवाभिपूजितम् । एवमेतन्मयोद्दिष्टमृषिदृष्टं पुरातनम्
svarge ca pitṛloke ca pitṛdevābhipūjitam | evam etan mayoddiṣṭam ṛṣidṛṣṭaṃ purātanam ||
Ang aral na ito ay pinararangalan sa langit at sa daigdig ng mga ninuno, iginagalang kapwa ng mga diyos at ng mga Pitṛ (mga espiritu ng mga ninuno). Kaya’t ito ang aking inilatag—isang sinaunang doktrina, nakita at pinagtibay ng mga pantas noong unang panahon.
