कुट॒म्बार्थे समानीतं यर्त्किंचित् कार्यमेव तु । प्रातरुत्थाय तत्सर्व कारयामि करोमि च,'सारे कुट॒म्बके लिये जो कुछ कार्य आ पड़ता, वह सब मैं सबेरे ही उठकर कर-करा लेती थी
kuṭambārthe samānītaṃ yat kiṃcit kāryam eva tu | prātar utthāya tat sarvaṃ kārayāmi karomi ca ||
Wika ni Bhishma: “Anumang gawain—gaano man kaliit—na lumilitaw para sa kapakanan ng sambahayan, ako’y bumabangon nang maaga at tinitiyak na magawa ang lahat—may ipinagagawa ako at may ako mismo ang gumagawa.”
भीष्म उवाच
Dharma is expressed through diligent, timely, and responsible care for one’s household: one should not neglect even small duties, and should both supervise and personally contribute where needed.
In Bhishma’s discourse on conduct (Anushasana Parva), the speaker describes a model of household management—rising early and ensuring that all family-related tasks are completed, whether by arranging them or doing them personally.
