एवं लोकेष्वहिंसा तु निर्दिष्टा धर्मत: पुरा । जैसे हाथीके पैरके चिह्ममें सभी पदगामी प्राणियोंके पदचिह्न समा जाते हैं

“Kaya nga, sa mga daigdig, ang ahiṃsā ay itinuro na noong unang panahon ayon sa dharma. Kung paanong sa bakas ng paa ng elepante ay nagkakasya ang bakas ng paa ng lahat ng nilalang na naglalakad, gayundin, sa dharma ng di-panlalamang ay nasasaklaw ang lahat ng dharma—ganyan ang kinikilalang aral.”
