लोम्नां प्रमाणेन सम॑ ब्रह्मलोके महीयते । वह मनुष्य दो पताका (महापद्मा)

Transliteration

lomnāṁ pramāṇena samaṁ brahmaloke mahīyate |

Translation

Sabi ni Bhishma: Ang tao ay pinararangalan sa Brahmaloka sa panahong sinusukat sa bilang ng mga balahibo (lomāni)—ibig sabihin, sa dami ng taon na katumbas ng dami ng balahibo sa itinakdang mga balat—na nagpapahiwatig ng napakahabang gantimpalang isinilang mula sa kabutihang-loob at merito sa pinakamataas na makalangit na daigdig.
