एतद्‌ गृहस्थधर्म त्वं चेष्टमानो जनाधिप । इहलोके यश: प्राप्य प्रेत्य स्वर्गमवाप्स्पसि

Transliteration

etad gṛhasthadharma tvaṁ ceṣṭamāno janādhipa | ihaloke yaśaḥ prāpya pretya svargam avāpsyasi ||

Translation

Sabi ni Bhīṣma: “O pinuno ng mga tao, kung pagsisikapan mong isabuhay ang dharma ng maybahay na ito, magkakamit ka ng mabuting pangalan sa daigdig na ito; at pagpanaw, mararating mo ang langit.”
