उपदेशदोषप्रसङ्गः (Upadeśa-doṣa-prasaṅgaḥ) — The Risk of Misapplied Counsel

अतिथीन्‌ पूजयामास यथावत्‌ समुपागतान्‌ । एवं हि सुमहान्‌ कालो व्यत्यक्रामत तस्य वै

atithīn pūjayāmāsa yathāvat samupāgatān | evaṁ hi sumahān kālo vyatyakrāmata tasya vai ||

Wika ni Bhīṣma: Iginagalang niya nang nararapat ang mga panauhing dumarating, ayon sa wastong paraan. Sa gayon, para sa kanya, lumipas ang napakahabang panahon—ginugol sa matatag na pagsasabuhay ng pagkamapagpatuloy at tamang asal.
