बक-राक्षसस्य आह्वानम् तथा वृक्षयुद्धम्
Summons of Baka and the Tree-Weapon Engagement
गच्छतस्तस्य वेगेन ताक्ष्यमारुतरंहस: । भीमस्य पाणए्जुपुत्राणां मूर्च्छेव समजायत,गरुड़ और वायुके समान तीव्र गतिवाले भीमसेनके चलते समय उनके (महान) वेगसे अन्य पाण्जुपुत्रोंको मूर्च्छा-सी आ जाती थी
gacchatas tasya vegena tākṣyamārutaraṁhasaḥ | bhīmasya pāṇḍuputrāṇāṁ mūrcchā iva samajāyata ||
Wika ni Vaiśampāyana: Nang si Bhīma—kasingbilis ni Garuḍa at ng hangin—ay sumulong sa kanyang napakalakas na bilis, ang iba pang mga anak ni Pāṇḍu ay waring tinamaan ng pagkahilo at panghihina, hindi makasabay ni makatiis sa bigat ng kanyang hakbang.
