त॑ कृताञज्जलय: सर्वे प्रणता वसुधाधिपा: । उपाजम्मुर्धनं गृह रत्नानि विविधानि च,भूतलके समस्त राजाओंने उनके सामने हाथ जोड़कर मस्तक टेक दिये और नाना प्रकारके रत्न एवं धन लेकर उनके पास आये
te kṛtāñjalayaḥ sarve praṇatā vasudhādhipāḥ | upājagmur dhanam gṛhya ratnāni vividhāni ca ||
Ang lahat ng mga hari, mga pinuno ng lupa, na magkayakap ang mga palad sa paggalang at nakayuko ang ulo, ay lumapit sa kaniya, dala ang kayamanan at sari-saring mahahalagang hiyas bilang handog—isang panlabas na tanda ng pagpapasakop, paggalang, at kinikilalang kaugaliang pagpupugay sa karapat-dapat sambahin.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic social conduct: rulers express respect through humility (añjali, bowing) and through appropriate offerings, reinforcing legitimate authority and orderly relations among kings and honored persons.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that all the assembled kings approached the honored recipients, bowed with joined hands, and presented wealth and various jewels, indicating formal acceptance and reverence.
