Adhyaya 84: शिवव्रतकथनम्

Uma–Maheshvara Vrata, Shula-dana, and Month-wise Ekabhakta Vrata

पौर्णमास्याममावास्यां चतुर्दश्यष्टमीषु च नक्तमब्दं प्रकुर्वीत हविष्यं पूजयेद्भवम्

paurṇamāsyāmamāvāsyāṃ caturdaśyaṣṭamīṣu ca naktamabdaṃ prakurvīta haviṣyaṃ pūjayedbhavam

Sa araw ng kabilugan ng buwan, sa araw ng bagong buwan, at sa ika-labing-apat at ika-walong araw ng buwan, dapat tuparin ang panatang kumain lamang sa gabi sa loob ng isang buong taon, at sambahin si Bhava (Śiva) sa pamamagitan ng haviṣya—mga handog na dalisay at pinabanal.
