Suta Goswami (narrating the merit of Shiva-dana within the Purana’s discourse)
It links Shiva-bhakti with dana as a purifier: offering substantial gifts (even simple metals) as part of Shiva-centered dharma yields honor in Shivaloka, reinforcing that devotion expressed through righteous giving supports Linga-puja.
Shiva is implied as Pati—the supreme Lord whose realm (Shivaloka) grants recognition and upliftment to the pashu (individual soul) when it loosens pasha (bondage) through dharmic acts performed in a Shiva-oriented spirit.
Dana connected to Shiva-puja is highlighted—material offerings (iron, copper, silver, gold) given in complete measure; it functions as an auxiliary discipline supporting inner purification alongside Shaiva observances.
