सहैव मरणं तेषां कुरूणां स्वर्गवासिनाम् हृष्टानां सुप्रवृद्धानां सर्वान्नामृतभोजिनाम्

Transliteration

sahaiva maraṇaṃ teṣāṃ kurūṇāṃ svargavāsinām hṛṣṭānāṃ supravṛddhānāṃ sarvānnāmṛtabhojinām

Translation

Kahit sa mga Kuru na nananahan sa langit—masaya, lubhang umuunlad, at kumakain ng sari-saring pagkaing amṛta—dumarating pa rin ang kamatayan. Kaya ang paśu na ginagapos ng pāśa ay hindi makakamit ang pagkapirmi sa pamamagitan ng paglalayaw; tanging pagkanlong sa Pati, si Śiva, ang nagdadala lampas sa pagkabulok.
