सूत उवाच निशम्य वचनं तस्य ब्रह्मणः परमेष्ठिनः प्रपिबन्निव चक्षुर्भ्यां प्रीतस्तत्प्रश्नगौरवात्
sūta uvāca niśamya vacanaṃ tasya brahmaṇaḥ parameṣṭhinaḥ prapibanniva cakṣurbhyāṃ prītastatpraśnagauravāt
Sinabi ni Sūta: Nang marinig niya ang mga salita ni Brahmā, ang Paramēṣṭhin—ang kataas-taasang panginoon ng kaayusan ng paglikha—siya’y napuspos ng galak, nakatitig na wari’y iniinom sa mga mata, dahil sa bigat at dangal ng mismong tanong na iyon.
