Shloka 41

ईशानकल्पवृत्तान्तः तथा लैङ्गपुराणस्य संक्षेप-सूची

रुद्रप्रसादाद्विष्णोश् च जिष्णोश्चैव तु सम्भवः मन्थानधारणार्थाय हरेः कूर्मत्वमेवच

rudraprasādādviṣṇoś ca jiṣṇoścaiva tu sambhavaḥ manthānadhāraṇārthāya hareḥ kūrmatvamevaca

Sa biyaya ni Rudra, naganap ang pagpapakita ni Viṣṇu—na tinatawag ding Jiṣṇu; at upang pasanin ang pag-ikot sa karagatan, si Hari ay tunay na nag-anyong Kūrma, ang Pagong.
