Bhāgavata-Māhātmya and the Complete Summary of the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam
This verse says that steady, unforgetful remembrance of Kṛṣṇa’s lotus feet destroys inauspiciousness, spreads peace, purifies the heart, and awakens devotion along with realized knowledge and detachment.
As Parīkṣit prepared to leave the world, Śukadeva summarized the essence of Bhāgavatam practice: bhakti expressed as constant remembrance of Kṛṣṇa, which grants purification and liberation even in the final days of life.
Keep Kṛṣṇa at the center through regular nāma-japa/kīrtana, brief daily reading, and intentionally recalling His lotus feet during work and stress—this steadily reduces negativity and grows clarity, devotion, and detachment.
