एवं यदूनां शाल्वानां निघ्नतामितरेतरम् । युद्धं त्रिनवरात्रं तदभूत्तुमुलमुल्बणम् ॥ ५ ॥

Transliteration

evaṁ yadūnāṁ śālvānāṁ nighnatām itaretaram yuddhaṁ tri-nava-rātraṁ tad abhūt tumulam ulbaṇam

Translation

Sa gayon, ang mga Yadu at mga tagasunod ni Śālva ay patuloy na naglalabanan; ang magulo at nakapanghihilakbot na digmaan ay tumagal ng dalawampu’t pitong araw at gabi.
