Śrīla Viśvanātha Cakravartī quotes the following text of the Padma Purāṇa describing Lord Kṛṣṇa’s chariot horses:
This verse highlights seva in action—bringing Kṛṣṇa’s chariot and standing with folded hands—showing that devotion is expressed through attentive, humble service.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī narrates this verse to Mahārāja Parīkṣit while describing the events leading to Rukmiṇī’s marriage with Śrī Kṛṣṇa.
Cultivate respect and readiness to serve—approach duties, teachers, elders, and devotional practices with humility, attentiveness, and a cooperative spirit.
