Chapter 376 — ब्रह्मज्ञानम्

Knowledge of Brahman

जाग्रत्स्वप्ने च चैतन्यं सङ्कीर्णत्वान्न बुध्यते विज्ञानरहितः प्राणः सुषुप्ते ज्ञायते यतः

jāgratsvapne ca caitanyaṃ saṅkīrṇatvānna budhyate vijñānarahitaḥ prāṇaḥ suṣupte jñāyate yataḥ

Sa paggising at sa panaginip, ang kamalayan ay hindi nakikilala nang malinaw sapagkat nahahalo sa mga bagay at sa mga pagbabago ng isip. Ngunit sa malalim na tulog (suṣupti), ang prāṇa ay nalalamang walang vijñāna, walang naiibang pagkakilala; kaya natitiyak ang kalagayang iyon.
