ऋतवश् च तथा मासा पक्षा रात्र्यहनी तथा सन्ध्यातिथिमुहूर्ताच्च कालस्यावयवाकृतिः

ṛtavaś ca tathā māsā pakṣā rātryahanī tathā sandhyātithimuhūrtācca kālasyāvayavākṛtiḥ

Ang mga panahon, ang mga buwan, ang mga pakṣa (kalahating-buwan), ang gabi at araw; at gayundin ang mga sandhyā, mga tithi, at mga muhūrta—ito ang mga sangkap na bumubuo sa anyo ng Kāla, ang Panahon.
