यमानिलेन्द्रचन्द्रार्कविष्णुसिंहादिके हरिः दरो ऽस्त्रियां भये श्वभ्रे जठरः कठिने ऽपि च

yamānilendracandrārkaviṣṇusiṃhādike hariḥ daro 'striyāṃ bhaye śvabhre jaṭharaḥ kaṭhine 'pi ca

Sa mga kontekstong gaya nina Yama, Vāyu (hangin), Indra, ang Buwan, ang Araw, Viṣṇu, ang Leon, at iba pa, siya ay tinatawag na “Hari.” Sa kahulugang “hindi babae” (lalaki), siya ay “Dara”; sa takot at sa hukay/bangin na mapanganib, siya ay “Jaṭhara”; at sa kahulugang “matigas, di-masunurin sa pagbaluktot,” tinatawag din siya nang gayon.
