प्रमाणं हेतुमर्यादाशास्त्रेयत्ताप्रमातृषु करणं क्षेत्रगात्रादावीरिणं शून्यमूषरं

pramāṇaṃ hetumaryādāśāstreyattāpramātṛṣu karaṇaṃ kṣetragātrādāvīriṇaṃ śūnyamūṣaraṃ

Ang “pramāṇa” (wastong paraan ng kaalaman), “hetu” (dahilan), at “maryādā” (hangganan/pagpigil) ay dapat ipaliwanag sa sistemang śāstra na may pagtukoy sa “pramātṛ” (ang nakaaalam).
