Chapter 40 — भूपरिग्रहो नाम

असुरं सुरया द्विष्ठं पदे शेषं घृताम्भसा यवैः पापं पदार्धस्थं रोगमर्धे च मण्डकैः

asuraṃ surayā dviṣṭhaṃ pade śeṣaṃ ghṛtāmbhasā yavaiḥ pāpaṃ padārdhasthaṃ rogamardhe ca maṇḍakaiḥ

Dapat itaboy ang impluwensiyang asuriko (mapaminsala) sa pamamagitan ng surā (inuming pinaasim/alkohol); alisin ang natitirang dumi sa paa sa pamamagitan ng tubig na hinaluan ng ghee; pawiin ang kasalanan kapag nasa kalahating bahagi ng paa sa pamamagitan ng sebada; at kapag ang sakit ay nasa gitnang bahagi, (gamutin) sa pamamagitan ng mga keyk na maṇḍaka.
