युयोध च सूरैः सार्द्धं रुरुर्दैत्यपतिस्तथा । मुद्गरैर्मुषलैः शूलैः शरैर्दण्डायुधैस्तथा । जघ्नुर्दैत्याः सुरान् संख्ये सुराश्चैव तथासुरान् ॥
yuyodha ca sūraiḥ sārdhaṁ rurur daityapatis tathā | mudgarair muśalaiḥ śūlaiḥ śaraiḥ daṇḍāyudhais tathā | jaghnur daityāḥ surān saṁkhye surāś caiva tathāsurān ||
และรุรุ ผู้เป็นเจ้าแห่งไทตยะ ก็รบเคียงข้างเหล่าวีรชน ด้วยค้อนศึก กระบอง ทวนตรีศูล ลูกศร และอาวุธท่อนไม้ต่าง ๆ ในสนามรบ เหล่าไทตยะสังหารเหล่าสุระ และเหล่าสุระก็สังหารเหล่าอสูรเช่นเดียวกัน
