त्रिवर्णा च कुमारी सा कृष्णशुक्ला च पीतिका । उवाच भवतां दृष्टेर्योगाज्जाता अस्मि सत्तमाः । किं मां न वेत्थ सुष्रोणीं स्वशक्तिं परमेश्वरीम् ॥

นางกุมารีนั้นมีสามสี—ดำ ขาว และเหลืองนวล นางกล่าวว่า: “โอ้ผู้ประเสริฐทั้งหลาย เราบังเกิดจากพลังโยคะแห่งสายตาของท่านทั้งสาม ท่านไม่รู้จักเราหรือ—ผู้มีสะโพกงาม ผู้เป็นศักติสูงสุดของท่านเอง คือพระปรเมศวรี?”
