राजजाया आत्मजा चैव अगम्या मुख्यतः स्त्रियः । रजकादिषु चान्याश्च स्त्रियोऽगम्याः प्रकीर्तिताः । अगम्यागमनं चैतत् कृतं पापाय जायते ॥ ६८.१५ ॥

rājajāyā ātmajā caiva agamyā mukhyataḥ striyaḥ | rajakādiṣu cānyāś ca striyo 'gamyāḥ prakīrtitāḥ | agamyāgamanaṃ caitat kṛtaṃ pāpāya jāyate || 68.15 ||

โดยหลักแล้ว พระมเหสีของพระราชาและบุตรธิดาของตนเอง ถูกประกาศว่าเป็นสตรีที่ห้ามเข้าใกล้เพื่อการร่วมเพศ อีกทั้งสตรีอื่น ๆ เช่นผู้เกี่ยวข้องกับพวกซักผ้าและหมู่คณะคล้ายกัน ก็ถูกกล่าวว่าเป็นสตรีต้องห้าม การเสพสังวาสกับผู้ต้องห้ามนี้ เมื่อกระทำแล้ว ย่อมก่อให้เกิดบาป (ปาปะ)
