व्याध उवाच । हन्तुमिच्छुरहं ब्रह्मन् भवन्तं प्रागिहागतः । इदानीं दर्शनात् तुभ्यं सा मतिः क्वापि मे गता ॥ ३७.१३ ॥

vyādha uvāca | hantum icchur ahaṃ brahman bhavantaṃ prāk ihāgataḥ | idānīṃ darśanāt tubhyaṃ sā matiḥ kvāpi me gatā || 37.13 ||

นายพรานกล่าวว่า: “ข้าแต่พราหมณ์ ก่อนหน้านี้ข้ามาที่นี่ด้วยความคิดจะฆ่าท่าน แต่บัดนี้เมื่อได้เห็นท่านแล้ว ความตั้งใจนั้นของข้ากลับสูญหายไปเสียสิ้น”
