एतत्ते कथितं भद्रे पितृकार्यमनुत्तमम्॥ उत्पतिश्चैव दानं च यत्पुण्यं कथितं तव॥
etat te kathitaṃ bhadre pitṛ-kāryam anuttamam || utpatiś caiva dānaṃ ca yat puṇyaṃ kathitaṃ tava ||
ดังนี้แล โอ้ผู้เป็นมงคล ข้าพเจ้าได้กล่าวแก่ท่านถึงพิธีเพื่อบรรพชน (ปิตฤการยะ) อันยอดยิ่งแล้ว และบุญกุศล (ปุณยะ) อันเกี่ยวกับการบังเกิดแห่งผลและการให้ทาน (ทานะ) ก็ได้อธิบายแก่ท่านแล้ว
