उवाच मधुरं वाक्यं गच्छ शीघ्रं नमोऽस्तु ते ॥ ब्रह्मराक्षसमुक्तोऽसौ वणिक् तु दृढनिश्चयः ॥
uvāca madhuraṃ vākyaṃ gaccha śīghraṃ namo’stu te || brahmarākṣasamukto’sau vaṇik tu dṛḍhaniścayaḥ ||
เขากล่าววาจาอ่อนหวานว่า: “จงไปโดยเร็ว; ขอนอบน้อมแด่ท่าน” ครั้นพ้นจากพรหมรากษสนั้นแล้ว พ่อค้าผู้นั้นยังคงมั่นคงในปณิธาน
