प्राङ्मुखं भोजयेद्विप्रं देवानामुभयात्मकम् । पितृपैतामहानां च भोजयेच्चाप्युदङ्मुखान् ॥ १४.१२ ॥
prāṅmukhaṃ bhojayed vipraṃ devānām ubhayātmakam | pitṛ-paitāmahānāṃ ca bhojayec cāpy udaṅmukhān || 14.12 ||
พึงถวายภัตตาหารแก่พราหมณ์ผู้หันหน้าไปทางทิศตะวันออก โดยถือว่าเป็นผู้แทนแห่งเทพทั้งสองภาวะ; และเพื่อบรรพชนปิตฤและปิตามหะ พึงให้หันหน้าไปทางทิศเหนือแล้วถวายภัตตาหารด้วย
