The Glorification of Donating a Butter-Cow

Navanīta-Dhenu

हविर् एवं रसं चैव विप्रवर्यस्य भूपते ।। भुक्त्वा तिष्ठेद्दिनं राजन् धेनुदस्त्रीणि वै द्विजः ॥

havir evaṃ rasaṃ caiva vipravaryasya bhūpate || bhuktvā tiṣṭhed dinaṃ rājan dhenudastrīṇi vai dvijaḥ ||

ดังนี้แล โอ้เจ้าแห่งแผ่นดิน จึงจัดอาหารบูชา (หวิส) และน้ำ/รสอันเป็นสาระให้แก่พราหมณ์ผู้ประเสริฐ ครั้นฉันแล้ว โอ้พระราชา ผู้เกิดสองครั้งพึงพำนักตลอดหนึ่งวัน โดยประพฤติวัตรที่เกี่ยวเนื่องกับการถวายโคทาน
