ऋषिरुवाच । ब्रह्मबन्धोः सुता न त्वं तपस्वी नास्ति मेऽधिकः । सुता त्वं च मया देया नान्यत्कर्तुं समुत्सहे

ṛṣiruvāca | brahmabandhoḥ sutā na tvaṃ tapasvī nāsti me'dhikaḥ | sutā tvaṃ ca mayā deyā nānyatkartuṃ samutsahe

ฤๅษีกล่าวว่า: “เจ้าไม่ใช่บุตรีของพรหมพันธุเลย ไม่มีตบสวีใดสูงกว่าข้า และเจ้าจักต้องถูกยกให้โดยข้าในพิธีวิวาห์; ข้าไม่อาจตั้งใจทำอย่างอื่นได้”
