gaja uvāca | bhadra bhadraṃ tvayā proktaṃ rasāyanamivāparam | bhūyo'haṃ śrotumicchāmi tīrthasyāsya mahāphalam

พญาช้างกล่าวว่า: โอ้ภัทระ ถ้อยคำที่ท่านกล่าวช่างเป็นมงคลยิ่ง ดุจรสายนะอันหล่อเลี้ยงชีวิตอีกประการหนึ่ง ข้าปรารถนาจะฟังต่อถึงผลอันยิ่งใหญ่ของทิรถะนี้
