तत्रापि द्वादशी श्रेष्ठा राजन्दामोदरे जले । किमन्यैर्बहुभिस्तीर्थेः कि क्षेत्रैः कि महावनैः । दामोदरे नरः स्नात्वा सर्वपापैः प्रमुच्यते

tatrāpi dvādaśī śreṣṭhā rājandāmodare jale | kimanyairbahubhistīrtheḥ ki kṣetraiḥ ki mahāvanaiḥ | dāmodare naraḥ snātvā sarvapāpaiḥ pramucyate

แม้ ณ ที่นั้นเอง โอ้พระราชา วันทวาทศีเป็นยอดยิ่งสำหรับสายน้ำทามโทระ แล้วจะต้องการทิรถะอื่นมากมายไปไย ต้องการเขตศักดิ์สิทธิ์อื่นหรือพนไพรใหญ่โตไปไย? ผู้ใดอาบน้ำในทามโทระ ย่อมหลุดพ้นจากบาปทั้งปวง
