caṃdrasūryādayo devāḥ saṃhriyaṃte punaḥpunaḥ | saptarṣayaḥ surāḥ śakro manustatsūnavo nṛpāḥ

“เหล่าเทพเริ่มแต่พระจันทร์และพระอาทิตย์ย่อมสลายไปครั้งแล้วครั้งเล่า; เช่นเดียวกับฤๅษีทั้งเจ็ด เทวะทั้งหลาย ศักระ (อินทรา) มนู และกษัตริย์ผู้เป็นโอรสของท่าน”
