दशरथ उवाच । रोहिणीं भेदयित्वा तु न गंतव्यं त्वया शने । सरितः सागरा यावद्यावच्चद्रार्कमेदिनी

daśaratha uvāca | rohiṇīṃ bhedayitvā tu na gaṃtavyaṃ tvayā śane | saritaḥ sāgarā yāvadyāvaccadrārkamedinī

ทศรถตรัสว่า: “โอ้พระศนิ ครั้นท่านได้แทงผ่านโรหิณีแล้ว อย่าได้ดำเนินต่อไป—ตราบใดที่สายน้ำยังไหลสู่มหาสมุทร และตราบใดที่จันทร์ สุริยะ และแผ่นดินยังดำรงอยู่”
