īśvara uvāca | ahorātrekṣaṇaparo vedāṃgaśrutibhūṣaṇaḥ | ājyanāsaḥ sruvatuḍaḥ sāmaghoṣasvano mahān

พระอีศวรตรัสว่า: “กลางวันและกลางคืนคือสายตาของท่าน; เวทางคะและศรุติคือเครื่องประดับของท่าน. อาชยะ (เนยใส) คือกลิ่นหอมของท่าน; สรุวะ ทัพพีเล็กคืออังคุศของท่าน; เสียงสวดสาแมนคือคำรามอันยิ่งใหญ่ของท่าน”
