trikālaṃ yatra rudrastu samāgatya vyavasthitaḥ | tanmahālayamityuktaṃ sthānaṃ tasya mahātmanaḥ

สถานที่ซึ่งพระรุทระเสด็จมาสถิตอยู่ในสามกาล (ยามเช้า เที่ยง และยามสนธยา) สถานนั้นเรียกว่า “มหาลยะ” คือที่พำนักอันยิ่งใหญ่ของมหาตมันนั้น
