janmaprabhṛtipāpānāṃ kṛtānāṃ nāśanaṃ bhavet | na duḥkhaṃ ca na dāridryaṃ durbhagatvaṃ na jāyate
บาปทั้งหลายที่กระทำมาตั้งแต่เกิดย่อมถูกทำลาย ไม่เกิดความทุกข์ ไม่เกิดความยากจน และความอัปมงคลก็ไม่บังเกิด
Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra (Talasvāmi/kuṇḍa context)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A devotee emerging from a sacred bath, water dripping, face calm and relieved; behind, the kuṇḍa glows, and symbolic dark clouds (sins/sorrow) disperse into clear sky near the Talasvāmi shrine.
Sacred observance at a powerful tīrtha is framed as moral purification and a source of worldly and spiritual well-being.
Prabhāsakṣetra, in the Talasvāmi Māhātmya’s phala-śruti.
The verse is a results-statement (phala-śruti) for the previously described vrata, dāna, and darśana.
