Scene: Dadhīci, serene and resolute, declares he will relinquish his body himself to accomplish the gods’ purpose; devas watch in reverent silence.
The highest dharma is voluntary self-offering for loka-hita (the welfare of the world) without coercion.
Prabhāsakṣetra, whose māhātmya preserves models of supreme charity and renunciation.
No explicit rite; the “offering” here is the sage’s own body as the ultimate dāna in service of dharma.
