ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | asamarthāḥ paritrāṇe jitāhārāstaponvitāḥ | nagareṇeha kiṃ kurmastava bhaktimabhīpsavaḥ

เหล่าฤษีกล่าวว่า: พวกเราไม่สามารถคุ้มครองและปกครองได้ เราสำรวมอาหารและประกอบตบะ โอ้พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พวกเราผู้ปรารถนาเพียงภักติแด่พระองค์ จะทำสิ่งใดกับนครนี้ที่นี่เล่า
