Ṛṣis (continuing the request/statement of phala)
Tirtha: Trinetra-kuṇḍa (contextual)
Type: kund
Scene: A pilgrim arrives at a stepped pond, performs ritual bathing, then offers gold, cows, garments, and sesame to a brāhmaṇa; attendants and cows are present; the setting is clearly a tīrtha with sanctified water.
Pilgrimage is completed by dharma: bathing (snāna) is paired with charity (dāna) to sanctify one’s life and resources.
The kuṇḍa (sacred pond) in Prabhāsakṣetra described in Adhyāya 304.
Snāna at the kuṇḍa and dāna to a brāhmaṇa: gold, cows, garments, and sesame seeds.
