na ṣoḍaśāṃśaṃ yatnena labdhārthaṃ yadi yacchati | paṃcamāṃśamatho vāpi dadyāttatra dvijātiṣu

หากผู้ใดไม่ถวายแม้เพียงหนึ่งส่วนสิบหกของทรัพย์ที่ได้มาด้วยความเพียร ก็พึงถวายอย่างน้อยหนึ่งส่วนห้า ณ ที่นั้น แด่หมู่ทวิชะ (ผู้เกิดสองครั้ง)
