anupoṣya trirātrāṇi tīrthānyanabhigamya ca | adattvā kāṃcanaṃ gāśca daridronāma jāyate

ผู้ใดไม่บำเพ็ญอุโบสถสามราตรี ไม่ไปสักการะทีรถะทั้งหลาย และไม่ถวายทานทองคำกับโค ผู้นั้นย่อมถูกเรียกว่า ‘ยากไร้’—ขาดสิริมงคลแห่งบุญ
