तं दृष्ट्वा मानवो देवि मुच्यते पंचपातकैः । सार्द्धद्वादशहस्तं तु योजनत्रितयेन तु । न पश्यंति महादेवि पापिष्ठा ये तु मानवाः
taṃ dṛṣṭvā mānavo devi mucyate paṃcapātakaiḥ | sārddhadvādaśahastaṃ tu yojanatritayena tu | na paśyaṃti mahādevi pāpiṣṭhā ye tu mānavāḥ
โอ้เทวี ผู้ใดได้เห็นสิ่งนั้นย่อมพ้นจากมหาบาปทั้งห้า แต่โอ้มหาเทวี มนุษย์ผู้บาปหนายิ่งกลับไม่อาจเห็นได้ ทั้งที่มันสูงยาวราวสิบสองครึ่งหัตถ์ และมองเห็นได้ภายในระยะสามโยชน์
