अमरत्वमनुप्राप्तो वर्द्धते सलिलालये । तं दृष्ट्वा त्रिदशाः सर्वे स्पर्द्धमाना मुहुर्मुहुः । ज्ञात्वामृतान्वितं तोयं मंत्रं चक्रुर्भयान्विताः
amaratvamanuprāpto varddhate salilālaye | taṃ dṛṣṭvā tridaśāḥ sarve sparddhamānā muhurmuhuḥ | jñātvāmṛtānvitaṃ toyaṃ maṃtraṃ cakrurbhayānvitāḥ
ครั้นบรรลุความเป็นอมตะแล้ว มันก็เจริญรุ่งเรืองในที่พำนักแห่งสายน้ำนั้น. ครั้นเหล่าตริดศทั้งปวงเห็น ก็เกิดริษยาซ้ำแล้วซ้ำเล่า; ครั้นรู้ว่าน้ำนั้นเจือด้วยอมฤต จึงหวาดหวั่นและรจนามนตร์ขึ้น
