वसिष्ठ उवाच । एतद्ब्रह्मोद्भवं नाम पद्मं त्रैलोक्यविश्रुतम् । दृष्टमात्रेण चानेन दृष्टाः स्युः सर्व देवताः

vasiṣṭha uvāca | etadbrahmodbhavaṃ nāma padmaṃ trailokyaviśrutam | dṛṣṭamātreṇa cānena dṛṣṭāḥ syuḥ sarva devatāḥ

วสิษฐะกล่าวว่า: “นี่คือปทุมชื่อ ‘พรหมोदภวะ’ เลื่องลือไปทั่วไตรโลก เพียงได้เห็นดอกบัวนี้ ก็ชื่อว่าได้เห็นเหล่าเทวะทั้งปวงแล้ว”
