तस्मात्ते गर्वसंयुक्ते कुष्ठमंगे भविष्यति । श्रुत्वा शापं ततः कन्या भयभीता तपस्विनी
tasmātte garvasaṃyukte kuṣṭhamaṃge bhaviṣyati | śrutvā śāpaṃ tataḥ kanyā bhayabhītā tapasvinī
“ฉะนั้น โอ้ผู้ประกอบด้วยความทะนง โรคเรื้อนจักบังเกิดแก่กายของเจ้า” ครั้นได้ยินคำสาปนั้น นางกัญญาผู้บำเพ็ญตบะก็หวาดกลัว สะท้านพรั่นพรึง
