tato'ṣṭādaśadhā kṛtvā vedavyāso yugeyuge | prakhyāpayati loke'sminsākṣānnārāyaṇāṃśajaḥ

แล้วพระเวทวยาสได้แบ่งออกเป็นสิบแปดส่วน และประกาศในโลกนี้ทุกยุคทุกสมัย—ท่านผู้เป็นอวตารภาคโดยตรงแห่งพระนารายณ์
